Welcome to the 2009
Youth Leadership Summit Blog!
We've created this space so that our youth participants can reflect, share and chronicle their experiences with family, friends and fellow advocates. Hopefully you will be encouraged by their journey into the issues of hunger and poverty that impact our community. They will reflect on the various field trips to partner agencies, service projects, and share their responses to the week. So be sure and stop by periodically or subscribe to our RSS feed because you never know what you might find that is new and inspiring from our Youth Leaders (and maybe even the occasional fearless staff member!). If you are a visitor, family or friend stopping by we would love for you to participate as well, so please feel free to leave notes of encouragement in the comments (If you are new to the blog game just click the "Comments" link below each post to get started) as they work towards planning and implementing their own action steps to address hunger and poverty in their own communities!
